Friday 28th September. THEY COULDN"T BE BOTHERED.

Today we cross the water that separates east from west, although it was a very long drive that got very tedious. One billboard caught my eye and made me chuckle then we got stopped by the police and fined for speeding. Eventually we get to Esphesius or something like that which are the remains of a very large Roman settlement. It feels strange as even though these are the remains it does not look or feel like much effort has been made to attract tourism, there is work going on to tidy up the huge site but it's been here a while, I dont think they can be working hard enough.
