We're up at the crack of sparrows and Brasov is now a memory, a good one. We head for Romanias capital, Bucharest. Firstly we pay a visit to one of the castles to be associated with Vlad the Impaler, Bran Castle. It's a nice castle with good views but anyone expecting lots of references to Dracula or any Impalements would be disappointed.
Back on the bus we continue on to Bucharest, our first stop is the campsight, again no needs for tents as tonight we have dusty, damp, smelly lodges with dirty sheets. At least the sleeping bag will come in handy.
We head into Bucharest and Caecescus Palace, known by the locals as 'The Mad Mans House'. It is massive, Buckingham Palace would fit in the car park. It was built with money borrowed from other countries while the population starved.
